Income – Savings = Expenses
You should develop the discipline to save first before spending; if you spend first before saving, there will be nothing left over to save after all the expenses.
The Bible says, whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow — so start now! “It’s not how much money you make, it’s how much money you save.”
To start, set aside at least 5% of your income for savings.
Proverbs 6:6-8
6 Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
7 It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
8 yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest
God even uses insects to teach us a lesson on “Savings.” Stop making excuses — if an ant can do it, so can you!
